Position Overview: Oban College Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and motivated Vocational Education Teacher to deliver high-quality training and assessment to students in a supportive and industry-focused learning environment. . Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver engaging, competency-based training programs aligned with national standards. Identify diverse student learning needs and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Develop and review course materials, curriculum, and assessment tools. Facilitate classroom sessions, workshops, and practical training using appropriate teaching resources and technology. Assess student performance, mark assignments, and provide constructive feedback. Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and assessment outcomes. Provide academic guidance and support to students regarding course progression. Liaise with industry stakeholders and internal academic/support teams to ensure training relevance and compliance. Requirements Relevant tertiary qualification in Education or Vocational Training Demonstrated vocational industry experience in the relevant teaching area. Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a teaching or training role. Strong knowledge of the Australian VET framework and compliance requirements. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
