We have an amazing opportunity for a proactive, focused Stores Person to assist, and support our Industrial Sales Team. This role will be based in Kewdale WA on a full-time permanent basis Monday to Friday. The Role: The Stores Person / Warehouse & Logistics Support role is responsible for the efficient coordination of warehouse, dispatch, freight and inventory functions to ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods to customers and internal stakeholders. This position provides dedicated ownership of warehouse and logistics operations onsite. The role is critical in improving operational efficiency, reducing delays and minimising errors, while enabling the Industrial Sales Representative and Industrial Sales Administrator to focus on their core, higher-value responsibilities: Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Establish clear ownership of warehouse, dispatch and stock control functions Eliminate operational gaps, delays and inefficiencies Ensure all goods are packed, labelled and dispatched accurately and on time Maintain high levels of stock accuracy and inventory control Reduce stock discrepancies and minimise backorders Develop and maintain documented work instructions for all stores, shipping and logistics processes Collaborate with Industrial Sales staff to standardise procedures Enable the Sales team to focus on revenue-generating and customer-facing responsibilities Improve customer satisfaction through reliable and timely service Reduce risk of freight errors, stock inaccuracies and missed communications Ensure all activities align with company and client expectation Coordinate freight providers across East and West regions Obtain freight quotes and arrange bookings Ensure freight is prepared in accordance with transport requirements Monitor stock levels and reorder requirements Receipt incoming stock accurately in SAP Track purchase orders and inventory movements About You: Valid driver’s licence in accordance with statutory requirements (HR licence highly regarded) Current High Risk LF Ticket (forklift licence) Relevant industry experience in warehouse, logistics or industrial supply environments Sound computer skills, including experience with warehouse or ERP systems Ability to accurately process inventory, documentation and system transactions High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in stock, freight and paperwork Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong customer service or sales support background Performing regular manual handling tasks safely Desirable: Knowledge of earth mover tyre and rim industry, tooling and associated consumables.
