Description About the Role DP World is seeking a motivated and results-driven Field Sales representative to join our Global Freight business based in Brisbane. In this role, you will focus on identifying and securing new business opportunities, primarily within the SME (Small to Medium Enterprise) market, with a strong emphasis on freight forwarding and logistics solutions. You will be responsible for developing and managing a strong sales pipeline, preparing and presenting tailored proposals, negotiating commercial agreements, and supporting the successful onboarding of new customer accounts. Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships will be key to driving sustainable revenue growth. Additionally, you will also contribute to trade lane development, customer retention initiatives, and identifying new growth opportunities across our logistics network. Working closely with internal teams, you will help deliver integrated solutions that optimise the logistics value chain and maximise value for our customers. Key Accountabilities: Drive targeted sales activity, lead negotiations, and secure profitable business opportunities while maintaining accurate CRM records Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline aligned with business objectives, including lead generation and sales forecasting Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across services, verticals, and trade lanes to maximise revenue growth Plan and execute sales strategies, setting targets and tracking KPIs, budgets, and forecasts Maintain regular engagement with prospective and existing customers through phone, virtual, and face-to-face meetings Collaborate with commercial teams, subject matter experts, and operations to deliver tailored logistics solutions and ensure successful customer outcomes Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 5–10 years’ experience in Field Sales or Business Development within freight forwarding, logistics, or a related industry Strong understanding of freight forwarding solutions, including pricing structures, rate cards, and customer-specific logistics strategies Proven ability to generate leads, build long-term customer relationships, and expand business across new markets Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication, negotiation, and commercial acumen with strong pipeline management capabilities Process-driven, proactive, and technologically proficient with a strong focus on accurate reporting, compliance, and safety "The job title in this advertisement is tailored for marketing purposes and may differ from the internal title used within our organisation."
