Find out more about our school by visiting Carson Street School or Schools Online The Role Carson Street School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cleaner in Charge to join their friendly team. To be suitable for this role you should have good attention to detail and will ideally be able to work well both individually and as part of a team to ensure a clean and safe school environment. You will ideally be organised, reliable and punctual and have excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods and practices. The Cleaner In Charge is responsible for opening and closing the school. The successful applicant should maintain the cleaners’ time-book, report absences and arrange relief staff, whilst liaising with Manager Corporate Services on all cleaning matters, ensuring advice and support is current, relevant and consistent with the Department’s policies, training and procedures on school cleaning.
