We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Area Manager to lead our Permanency Support Program in Wagga Wagga, overseeing residential care and case management services across multiple sites. The Opportunity As Area Manager, you will provide strong operational and practice leadership across our PSP portfolio, ensuring high-quality, child-centred and trauma-informed service delivery. You Will Lead and support a team of Youth Workers and Case Managers across residential and case management programsOversee multiple sites, ensuring safe, compliant and effective service deliveryDrive best practice and continuous improvement aligned with Office of the Children’s Guardian (OCG) Accreditation StandardsCollaborate with key stakeholders including DCJ and the Office of the Children’s GuardianEnsure compliance with legislative, contractual and organisational requirementsPrepare reports and contribute to strategic planning and service developmentManage budgets and care packages effectivelySupport staff development, performance management and wellbeing About You You are an experienced leader who is passionate about achieving permanency outcomes for children and young people. You Will Bring Tertiary qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, Psychology or a related fieldMinimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role (OOHC/child protection experience preferred)Demonstrated experience managing or leading teamsStrong understanding of trauma, child development and therapeutic care modelsKnowledge of Restoration, Preservation, Adoption and Guardianship pathwaysBudget and care package management experienceStrong stakeholder engagement skillsUnrestricted driver’s licence and access to a vehicle Why Join CatholicCare?
