The AppointmentOversee the pit to power station coal process, ensuring operational efficiency.Support both the internal mine production team and external contractors.Review and reconcile weekly contractor plans, identifying areas of success and improvement.Capture, analyse, and forecast operational data to drive informed decision-making.Work collaboratively with contractors to enhance performance and outcomes.Engage directly in the pit daily to ensure effective communication and oversight.Contribute to general project work and continuous improvement initiatives. About YouA qualified & experienced Mining Engineer with experience in open-pit coal mining operations.Strong technical skills with mine planning and scheduling software such as Vulcan, Deswik, or Spry.Highly analytical with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.Proactive, solutions-focused, and eager to contribute to operational improvements.
