Approach Consulting has partnered with one of Australia's largest Commonwealth Government focused administrative law teams to find a Lawyer/Associate (1-5 PQE). The partnership team have an impressive reputation within the administrative law space, ultimately seeking high-performing lawyers in Canberra, Sydney or Melbourne to support their work into major Commonwealth Government clients. Sharpen your legal skillset across a varied administrative law practice. In this role, you'll gain experience in matters across a range of major Federal Government agencies and departments including Defence, Home Affairs, regulatory bodies, social services and education. General responsibilities may include (among others): Carriage of your own matters - greater autonomy from the outset Merits and judicial reviews before the courts and tribunals drafting propsects advice and litigation strategies preparing evidence drafting submissions Preparing other Court and Tribunal documents Providing advocacy in the ART and Federal Circuit Court Working closely with partners and senior lawyers, you'll gain significant mentorship and support across a broad variety of matters within a Commonwealth context.
