Business Analyst | Technical Business Analyst | MS Purview | Sunshine Coast Your new company Hays have partnered with a well known organisation based in Queensland's Sunshine Coast, looking for a Technical Business Analyst and Business Analyst within their Insights and Analytics Unit. Your new role The Technical Business Analyst bridges the business requirements and the Purview platform capabilities. The role converts business rules, report logic, and data flows into technical requirements, mapping, lineage definitions, metadata structures, and CDE linkages. The Business Analyst contributes to the business-facing governance work: workshops, requirements elicitation, glossary creation, data product scoping, OKR linkage, and business-facing documentation. Additionally, they contribute to adoption, clarity, and governance alignment. What you'll need to succeed Both roles will need experience with Microsoft Purview and extensive Business Analysis skills. Technical Business AnalystStrong SQL and Power BI/DAX analysis capabilityExperience with metadata modelling and lineage mappingFamiliarity with government reporting and compliance metricsBusiness AnalystExperience in highly regulated environment and regulatory frameworksBackground in data governance, data stewardship, or information managementStrong documentation and stakeholder facilitation capabilityWhat you'll get in return Initial 5-month contract based on the Sunshine Coast with hybrid working arrangements.
