Rostering Officer (aka Scheduling Ninja) Full-Time | Mannum, SA | Immediate Start Are you highly organised, calm under pressure, and great at making complex schedules work? Mid Murray Support Service (MMSS) is seeking a Rostering Officer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, communication, and keeping services running smoothly in a fast-paced care environment. About the role You’ll be responsible for coordinating day-to-day rosters for our in-home aged care and disability services, ensuring the right workers are in the right place at the right time — while balancing client needs, award requirements, and staff wellbeing. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating and maintaining daily and ongoing staff rosters Managing changes, unplanned leave, and shift adjustments Communicating roster changes clearly with clients and workers Ensuring rosters align with relevant awards, contracts, and service requirements Assisting with timesheet processing and rostering enquiries Maintaining accurate records across CRM and rostering systems Supporting continuity of care and smooth service delivery What we’re looking for: Strong organisational and time management skills Clear, confident communication and a calm approach under pressure Confidence using rostering systems, CRMs, and digital tools Experience in aged care, disability, or community services (highly regarded) Certificate III or higher in a relevant field (desirable but not essential) Current driver’s licence and reliable, insured vehicle Current National Police Check (required First Aid certificate (required) Current Working with Children’s Check (required) Why join MMSS?
