About the Role: At TCX Facilities & Design Co., we believe that a building is only as good as the people who look after it. We manage a portfolio of premium commercial and retail spaces across the Central Coast, blending functional excellence with aesthetic appeal. We are seeking a proactive Facilities Coordinator to be the "eyes and ears" of our assets. This is a role for someone who takes pride in a job well done and hates seeing a crooked sign or a flickering light. You will move beyond simple helpdesk logging to become a hands-on problem solver. You will assist the Facilities Manager in the daily operation of our sites: from coordinating contractors and conducting site inspections to ensuring that our "Design" standard is maintained in every lobby and common area. Why Work With Us? Ditch the Commute: Stop losing 15 hours a week on the train to Sydney. We offer a professional career right here on the Coast, giving you your evenings back. Diverse Portfolio: You won't be stuck in a single basement. You will work across a variety of sites, from boutique offices to retail precincts. Career Growth: We are a company that promotes from within. This is the perfect stepping stone to becoming a Facilities Manager. Culture of Quality: We aren't a "patch it up" operation. We value high standards and give you the resources to maintain them. Key Responsibilities: Contractor Management: Induct and supervise trade contractors (cleaners, HVAC, security, landscaping) to ensure work is performed safely and to our high standards. Work Order Management: Manage the daily flow of maintenance requests via our FM software. Prioritize urgent issues and communicate updates to tenants. Site Inspections: Conduct regular walkthroughs to identify defects, safety hazards (WHS), or cleanliness issues before the client notices them. Compliance: Assist with essential safety measures (Fire, HVAC, Lifts). Ensure all certifications are up to date and filed correctly. Tenant Relations: Build positive relationships with our tenants. You are the friendly face they see when they need help. What We Are Looking For: Experience: 2 years in a Facilities, Property Management, or Building Services role. Practical Mindset: You don't need to be a tradesperson, but you should know the difference between a trip hazard and a structural crack. You are "handy" and practical. Tech Savvy: Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook) and willing to learn our Facilities Management software. Communication: You can write a clear professional email to a corporate tenant and have a firm conversation with a contractor who is running late. Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year Benefits: Employee mentoring program Professional development assistance Referral program Salary packaging Work Location: In person
