Join the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service, Central Region's Fire Team to help plan and deliver the Region's fire program. As a Ranger (Fire Planning), you will develop fire strategies for protected areas and State forests, contribute to burn plans, key value assessments, monitoring, and policy reviews. You'll also support operational teams across the region to plan and deliver fire management programs. This role offers a mix of outdoor and office-based responsibilities. You will refine your practical and teamwork skills while addressing both familiar and complex challenges. Duties include burn program development, wildfire preparedness and response, and planned burn and response planning.
