About The Role The Family Coordinator, Better Behaviour Centre (BBC) is responsible to the Manager, Learning and Behaviour for contributing to positive outcomes for students at the BBC, their families and educational communities by the development and evaluation of appropriate strategies in partnership with the BBC team and other service and agency staff, site staff and parents. The Family Coordinator will provide a social/emotional perspective to the provision of educational programs that will improve student's outcomes in the BBC and advice which contributes to the achievement of organisational objectives and the development of organisational policy. As well as contribute to the effective delivery and maintenance of a multidisciplinary service to students referred to the BBC. Day to day support is provided by Coordinator/Manager BBC or the Principal of the host school. Qualifications Essential: Social Workers: An appropriate degree or equivalent which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers. Psychologists: Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Psychology Board of Australia Desirable: Nil Special conditions The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years. Remuneration AHP2 $91,785 - $106,330 per annum (1.0 FTE) superannuation (12%) leave loading and applicable allowances.
