As part of a leading global engineering and professional services firm, you’ll contribute to impactful projects across civic and public infrastructure, defence, commercial, and education sectors. Due to project requirements, Australian citizenship is preferred to support security clearance eligibility. What You’ll Do Responsibilities As a Senior Hydraulic Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality hydraulic services design across both local and national projects. Your responsibilities will include: Leading hydraulic services design on multidisciplinary projects, ensuring compliance with technical, safety, commercial, and regulatory requirements. Producing high‑quality engineering documentation that delivers efficient, cost-effective outcomes for clients. Taking ownership of small to medium projects while also contributing to larger, complex project teams. Collaborating closely with clients, authorities, and internal teams to drive project success. Building strong client relationships and identifying new business opportunities within the Canberra and regional markets. Providing mentorship, guidance, and technical support to junior engineers within the Property & Buildings group. About You Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical, or similar) or equivalent industry experience. Approximately 6 years of experience working on Australian building services projects, specifically in hydraulic services design. Strong knowledge of relevant Standards, Codes, and regulatory frameworks (AS/NZS, NCC, etc.). Experience in consulting engineering is ideal; D&C contracting experience is also valued. Familiarity with BIM platforms (e.g., Revit, NavisWorks) is advantageous, with working Revit capability preferred.
