About The Role The department's Family Day Care Programs oversees the delivery of high-quality home-based care for children through Family Day Care, Guardianship Family Day Care and Respite Care programs, in line with the National Quality Framework for early childhood education and care, the South Australian Children and Young People’s Safety Act and National Disability Insurance Scheme. The Business Coordinator is responsible for coordinating a range of business and compliance administrative activities including ensuring educators maintain their core registration requirements, delivering administration support for the applications for additional child care subsidy and inclusion support program, delivering child limit reports, and supporting service level accounts payable. The Business Coordinator will oversee the functioning of a small team responsible for these business and compliance activities, focusing on continuous improvement, supporting staff well-being, and excellent customer experience. Qualifications Essential: Nil Desirable: A diploma in a business or education and care related fields. Special conditions The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.
