The Role We are seeking an experienced Administration Assistant to join our school, Peninsula Grammar. As the Administration Assistant for ECC & Junior School, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of these key areas within the school, however, you may be required to support other administration areas across the school as needed to assist with its operation. This is a full-time (pro-rata), permanent position, working during term time with an additional 10 days during the school holidays as allocated, commencing as soon as possible. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Providing administrative support to the Head of Junior School and the Senior Leadership Team with a variety of tasks Managing and maintaining accurate student records, including enrolment details, attendance records, and other relevant documentation Assisting with communication to parents and guardians regarding important information, events, and updates Greet and assist visitors at the ECC reception, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all Coordinating and managing schedules for school events, meetings, and appointments within the ECC and Junior School Supporting teaching staff with administrative tasks to aid in the delivery of high-quality education Handling general inquiries from students, parents, staff members and external parties via phone, email or in person Handle correspondence, including letters and reports, and ensure proper filing and record-keeping Assisting with the organisation of educational resources, materials and office supplies for ECC & Junior School Support school events and activities as required, including during school holidays, extracurricular activities & after-school events If you are looking for an opportunity to contribute to the efficient running of a respected educational institution while working in a supportive team environment, and have a passion for working with children, we encourage you to apply for this exciting role at our school, Peninsula Grammar.
