SIL House Supervisor – Psychosocial Focus Intertwined Support Services Belmont & Surrounding Areas Part-time (4 days/week preferred) Intertwined Support Services is seeking a passionate and capable SIL House Supervisor with strong experience in the psychosocial disability space . This role is ideal for someone who leads with empathy, has a solid understanding of the NDIS, and thrives in dynamic environments supporting participants with complex needs. About the Role The SIL House Supervisor plays a key leadership role within our Supported Independent Living program. You will oversee day‑to‑day house operations, provide guidance and support to staff, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure participants receive high‑quality, person‑centred care. This role requires someone who is approachable, organised, calm under pressure , and confident supporting individuals with complex and challenging behaviours . Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily running of a SIL household, ensuring a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for participants. Supervise and support SIL staff, including coaching, development, and performance oversight. Work closely with NDIS care teams, coordinators, behaviour practitioners, clinicians, and families. Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and Intertwined policies. Support participants with psychosocial needs, including regulating emotions, community access, routine building, and developing independence skills. Manage rosters, documentation, incident reporting, and quality improvements. Contribute to behaviour support plan implementation and positive behaviour support strategies. Maintain accurate and timely IT-based reporting and data entry requirements. Essential Criteria Minimum Diploma in Community Services (or related qualification). Previous experience as a SIL House Manager, Team Leader, or Supervisor . Strong background working in the psychosocial disability , mental health , or social work sectors. Demonstrated experience supporting individuals with complex and challenging behaviours . Excellent knowledge of the NDIS , including SIL, program reporting, compliance, and participant funding structures. Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple care teams. Solid IT skills and confidence using client management systems, email, portals, and documentation tools. Availability 4 days per week (flexible hours). No conflicts of interest – not an independent contractor, not affiliated with another provider, or able to demonstrate a clear transition plan to Intertwined if currently affiliated. Desirable Higher qualifications in Social Work, Mental Health, or Behavioural Science. Experience with psychosocial recovery frameworks, trauma‑informed practice, and positive behaviour support.
