About the Role An established shopfitting and retail interiors business is seeking a proactive Project Coordinator to support the delivery of high-quality retail fitout projects across Australia. This role is ideal for someone who is keen to get off the tools (carpentry, joinery, shopfitting or similar) and transition into a long-term career in project management, or for an experienced coordinator looking to grow within a stable, well-run business. You’ll work closely with project managers, designers, manufacturing and site teams to help deliver projects from concept through to installation and handover. Key Responsibilities Coordinate project activities across design, manufacturing and installation phases Assist with procurement of materials, specialist finishes and subcontract trades Maintain project documentation including schedules, RFIs, revisions and compliance records Support production planning and workshop handover requirements Work with designers and technical staff to ensure drawings and specifications are current Liaise with clients, consultants and internal teams to ensure clear communication Update project tracking systems for budgets, milestones and risk management Assist with logistics planning for deliveries and on-site installations Monitor WHS, quality control and adherence to project standards About You Background as a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator or trade-qualified candidate ready to move off the tools Experience in construction, shopfitting, joinery or interiors highly regarded Comfortable working with drawings, schedules and technical documentation Highly organised with strong attention to detail Confident communicator with clients, suppliers and internal teams Proficient in Microsoft Office; project management software experience advantageous Positive, solutions-focused team player with a genuine interest in project delivery What’s on Offer Clear progression into Project Management End-to-end project exposure across premium retail interiors Supportive, collaborative team environment Interstate travel opportunities — all travel well looked after Long-term role with a business that invests in its people Please contact Andrew at andrew@recruitsearchgrow.com or apply online to this Project Coordinator job or other Construction & Project Coordination roles.
