About the role We are seeking an experienced and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our team at Corfield Doctors Surgery. This is a part-time position based in Gosnell's, WA 6110. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for all who visit our practice. What you'll be doing Greeting and welcoming patients warmly upon arrival Scheduling appointments and managing the practice's calendar effectively Handling patient inquiries and providing excellent customer service Maintaining accurate patient records and updating medical information Assisting with administrative tasks as required Ensuring the reception area is tidy and well-organized. work in a team to provide the best care for the patients and support the Doctors through reception and administrative work. What we're looking for Proven experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of patients Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities to manage a busy reception area Proficient in using medical software and computer systems Experience with Best Practice medical software is prefers. Friendly, professional and discreet manner with a strong focus on patient confidentiality Flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the practice Australian work rights are required for this position.
