What we're looking for We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate nurse to join our QFG Mackay team as a part‑time Registered Nurse . This role suits someone who enjoys variety, works well independently, and thrives in a small multidisciplinary environment. Strong communication skills, sound clinical judgement, and confidence with IT systems are essential. What you'll be doing Supporting patients entering QFG’s Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) programs Providing education, counselling and ongoing support throughout treatment, early pregnancy and after pregnancy loss Coordinating patient treatment plans, scheduling cycles, and liaising with clinicians and clinic personnel Completing patient registrations, maintaining accurate clinical documentation and contributing to quality management activities Performing clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, pre‑operative assessments, theatre list preparation, and instrument/circulating nurse duties where qualified Assisting with recovery and discharge post‑procedure Reviewing blood tests with clinicians and communicating treatment instructions to patients Conducting ultrasound scans and IUI procedures where required Supporting medication ordering and stock control Participating in patient education sessions, marketing events and nursing research initiatives Assisting with onboarding and mentoring of new staff Ensuring compliance with QFG policies, audits, WHS requirements and quality standards About you Registered Nurse / Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with relevant clinical experience Midwifery training (desirable) Experience in infertility nursing (desirable) Understanding of Quality Management Systems (desirable) Strong organisational and supervisory skills Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently Confident working knowledge of clinical IT systems What we offer At Queensland Fertility Group, we are committed to supporting our employees’ well-being and professional development.
