Once online, the Project will produce a number of minerals used in an array of applications; various modern and future technologies, construction, medical, lifestyle and industrial uses. As the world moves towards a smarter, safer and sustainable future, Iluka’s high quality products are increasing in demand. The project is seeking an enthusiastic Materials Controller on a DIDO basis to join the team. Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities : Maintain and update inventory records, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Ensure timely delivery of materials and inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity. Receival of materials, including unloading of trucks in accordance with site operation procedures. This may include the operation of forklifts, pallet jacks and other materials handling equipment. Manage on site storage facilities, such as warehouses and laydown areas, in accordance with the site materials management plan. Ensure storage areas are kept clean and well organised. Identify and resolve any discrepancies in inventory records. Ensure that items are stored in their designated locations. Work with construction to ensure materials are available when needed. Implement and maintain inventory policies and procedures. Coordinate work process for material/equipment deficiency overages, shortages and damages. With a confirmed requirement, issue materials and equipment in accordance with the Project construction schedule to ensure correct sequence of usage. Check the status of all material, including current estimated time of arrival dates, shortages against purchase orders along with issues against Engineering Bill of Materials. Requirements : 3 to 5 years working in Materials Management Experience working large in EPC / EPCM or OEM companies. Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders Excellent time management skills
