About the Role We are currently seeking a compassionate and energetic Disability Support Worker to provide 1:1 care to a participant requiring 24/7 support, including active night shifts . The participant requires assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), personal care, meal preparation, light domestic duties, transportation, and social & community access . This is a rewarding role for someone with a genuine passion for helping others and the ability to build trust and rapport with clients. Key Responsibilities Provide personal care (toileting, showering, grooming, and hygiene assistance) Support with daily living activities and maintaining independence Assist with meal preparation, light household tasks, and cleaning Provide transportation to appointments and community activities Offer companionship and emotional support Work collaboratively with the participant, their family, and the care team About You You are a caring and empathetic individual with strong communication skills. You treat others with dignity and respect, and you are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of people living with disability. Qualifications & Requirements ✅ Certificate III/IV in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care, Community Services or equivalent ✅ NDIS Worker Screening Check (mandatory) ✅ NDIS Worker Orientation Module ✅ Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle ✅ Proof of COVID-19 vaccination ✅ National Police Check ✅ Working With Children Check ✅ Previous experience in disability support, aged care, community care or nursing What We Offer Flexible shifts across days, evenings, weekends, and active nights Competitive pay rates: $33.00 – $66.00 per hour The opportunity to work with a supportive team in a growing organisation Ongoing training and professional development Job Type: Casual Pay: $33.00 – $66.00 per hour Licence/Certification: NDIS Screening check (Preferred) Work Authorisation: Australia (Preferred) Work Location: In person
