Your new role As the Leading Hand, you will act as a frontline supervisor and key point of contact for site teams, clients and subcontractors. You will work both autonomously and alongside the broader joinery and construction teams to deliver high-quality joinery installations and site works. Your responsibilities will include: Performing joinery works to a high standard Coordinating onsite joinery operations and ensuring compliance with the project program Managing and maintaining tools, equipment and site housekeeping Guiding and supporting site staff and subcontractors Ordering materials and managing project documentation Ensuring defect management processes are followed and issues are reported appropriately Attending site meetings and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders This role may require occasional intrastate and interstate travel. What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you will have: Certificate III in Carpentry, Joinery or Cabinet Making Strong experience in commercial construction and joinery installation Solid understanding of modern building technology Excellent people management, communication and organisational skills Ability to read and interpret plans and provide clear direction to staff Sound computer and administrative abilities (including Microsoft Office) A current driver's licence and White Card A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement What you'll get in return You'll be joining a well established organisation that promotes career development, values its people, and fosters a positive and professional working environment.
