Clinical Asset Coordinator Facilities Maintenance Permanent part time, up to 45.6 hours per fortnight Management & Administrative Officers, Grade 4 (HS4), $42.33 per hour excluding salary packaging (Junior rates apply to employees aged under 19 years) __ We are seeking a motivated and detail focused Clinical Asset Coordinator to support the effective management of clinical assets and equipment across all West Gippsland Healthcare Group divisions. This is a key role that ensures safe, compliant and reliable equipment is available to clinical teams, supporting the delivery of high quality patient care. The Clinical Asset Coordinator will work closely with clinical teams, the Maintenance and Asset Planner and the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to maintain accurate asset records, assist with the coordination of repairs and maintenance activities, support procurement processes and promote best practice in asset lifecycle management. The role acts as a central point of contact for clinical asset related enquiries and plays an important part in minimising equipment downtime and enhancing asset utilisation across all services. You will have demonstrated experience in asset management or equipment lifecycle coordination within a healthcare or similarly regulated environment, working knowledge of medical equipment compliance requirements and proficiency with asset management systems. Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential. Our preferred candidate will have: Diploma or demonstrated experience in asset management or equipment lifecycle management within a healthcare setting. Knowledge of regulatory standards for medical equipment. Proficiency in asset management systems (e.g. Pulse or similar platforms). The following experience/qualifications would be considered advantageous: Degree in Engineering, Health Administration or Facilities Management. Experience in procurement and contract management for clinical equipment. Familiarity with compliance frameworks and accreditation processes in healthcare. Previous experience working with multidisciplinary clinical teams. IMPORTANT: Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
