Vacancies Allied Health Clinician, The Link (Hobart) The Link Location: Southern Tasmania Occupation: Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work Position Type: Part Time Are you an early to mid-career Allied Health professional looking to grow your skills working with young people? The Link Youth Health Service is seeking a motivated Allied Health Clinician to provide evidence-based, short-term psychological interventions to young people aged 12-25 years. This is a 0.8 FTE salaried role until June 2026, with the potential to extend pending funding. You’ll join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team supporting young people in Southern Tasmania, delivering face-to-face, telephone, and telehealth services. The Position As an Allied Health Clinician, you will: Deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and group sessions. Participate in clinical review meetings, care planning, and case conferences with GPs and other health professionals. Provide reports to referring GPs, maintain accurate electronic client records, and ensure compliance with professional and legal standards. Engage in ongoing professional development through supervision, quality improvement activities, and, where applicable, student supervision. Essential Requirements: Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or other Allied Health discipline with eligibility for professional membership. Eligibility for Medicare registration as an approved provider. Experience delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions with young people. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Current Working with Children registration, National Police Check, driver’s license, and eligibility to work in Australia.
