Accommodation Site Cleaner position available in Lakeland, Far North Queensland, for a family farming business that has been in operation for over 80 years - Mackays Group (THE TRUSTEE FOR GOLDEN BANANA SERVICES TRUST). There are 10 positions available.Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8am to 4:06 pm This position is classified as Level 1 under the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020. All positions have on job training andpotential for upskilling. The duties will include but are not limited to the following: Carry out cleaning duties, including but not limited to; cleaning and mopping floors, window cleaning, vacuuming, dusting and wiping down all surfaces, sweeping and removal of cobwebs, rubbish removal and maintaining the amenities to an appropriate standard of cleanliness. Laundering of sheets – weekly Stocktaking of accommodation site units. Ordering of cleaning products and equipment as required. Ensure units are cleaned to a very high standard, to meet the standards expected of the organisation and Workplace Health and Safety requirements Ensure personal protective equipment is always worn and maintained correctly by yourself and the team. Comply with and actively support relevant Workplace Health and Safety and Environmental instructions and legislation. As well as any ad hoc duties within the competency of the employee Start Date: Looking for employees to start in June for a minimum of 9 months
