Description The Opportunity Applications are now invited from accomplished HR leaders seeking appointment to the role of Director Human Resources at Housing Choices Australia (HCA). This role is offered full time or part time (0.9 FTE). Reporting to the Executive Group Director (Business Strategy and Corporate Services), the Director of Human Resources will lead the People and Culture function and set the strategic direction for workforce, culture and organisational effectiveness across HCA. The core focus of this role is inspiring a high performance team to deliver an enabling model of HR service delivery. In doing so, the position holder will ensure that quality people, culture and industrial infrastructure is embedded such that internal customers can rely on access to expertise across the full suite of operational and strategic people matters. Leading the broader people agenda, the position holder will champion the implementation of contemporary health, safety and well-being processes and innovative learning and development solutions. What you’ll do Drive the organisation’s people strategies ensuring integration across people, processes, systems and behaviour to achieve effective and sustainable business outcomes Lead and manage the People and Culture team inclusive of Human Resources, Health, Safety and Well-Being and Learning and Development Mentor and empower P&C team members to enable internal customers with expert quality advice, interventions and responses Ensure advice and support across the employment journey is consistent with best practice approaches to talent acquisition Set the tone for a culture of ‘right people in the right roles’ across HCA’s recruitment and selection processes As a trusted advisor to the Executive team, provide specialist guidance and advice on transformational change activities Partner with key stakeholders on the resolution of complex people matters and advise on the implementation of industrially sound interventions Ensure that systems and processes are in place such that HR policy items remain accurate, up to date and consistent with emerging best practice Champion the delivery of diversity, equity and inclusion activities Lead the Workplace Health and Safety agenda to ensure a strong safety and well-being focus at HCA.
