In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing a variety of electrical systems and equipment across commercial, industrial, and domestic settings. This position requires a licensed professional with a strong understanding of electrical safety standards and installation protocols. Key Responsibilities: Interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications to determine installation requirements Measure and mark reference points for wiring and equipment installation Select, cut, and connect electrical wires and cables to panels, switchboards, and systems Use electrical testing equipment to trace faults, diagnose malfunctions, and verify system performance Repair or replace defective wiring, components, and electrical systems as needed Install and position electrical switchboards, control panels, and other related systems Connect electrical networks and systems to the main power supply in accordance with safety codes Test the continuity of circuits and grounding to ensure safe operation Install, test, and commission solar photovoltaic (PV) systems in line with standards Service and maintain electric and mechanical components of lifts and related equipment Preferred Candidate Profile: AQF Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent Licensed and registered to perform electrical work as required by relevant regulatory authorities Minimum of 2 years of relevant on-the-job experience post-certification Proficient in using diagnostic tools and interpreting test results Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and compliance requirements Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail Pay: A$70,000.00 - A$120,000.00 per year
