About the Role As Underground Development Manager, you will drive the planning, design, coordination and optimisation of our underground development and future production activities. You will ensure that our mining systems are safe, efficient and commercially sound, while meeting all statutory and environmental obligations. Your leadership will be central in turning our exploration success into operational capability—shaping short‑, medium‑ and long‑term mine plans that guide execution on the ground. What You’ll Drive Plan and schedule underground development and production activities Review and approve mine designs Manage our contracting partnerships to optimise performance Deliver weekly and monthly performance reporting against plan Monitor production metrics, costs and utilisation to optimise efficiency and performance Assess feasibility, mining options, risks and future commercial potential of planned areas Conduct environmental and technical assessments for development approvals Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental standards Who You Are You’re a technically strong underground mining professional who pairs operational awareness with long‑range thinking. You bring a solutions mindset, a steady hand under pressure, and a commitment to disciplined, safe execution. Your Background ✔ Bachelor’s degree in Mining or Engineering (or equivalent) ✔ Proven experience in underground hard‑rock mining , ideally metalliferous ✔ Track record delivering development and production outcomes safely ✔ Highly capable in mine design and scheduling software ✔ Excellent analytical, planning and problem‑solving capability ✔ Clear communicator who can work confidently across contractors, operations and leadership ✔ Underground Mine Managers Certificate (desirable) The Practical Details Roster: Monday – Friday (5:2), typically 7am – 3pm with flexibility as needed Reports to: Chief Operating Officer Required checks: Right to work & qualifications verification Ready to Build Something That Lasts?
