The Role As an experienced Library Officer, you will manage the daily operations of the school library, ensuring it remains an organised, welcoming and engaging space that supports student learning. Your responsibilities include overseeing circulation, shelving and resource processing, administering the Oliver library management system, and maintaining accurate, current and accessible records and collections. Customer service is central to this role. You will provide friendly, professional support to students, staff, families and the leadership team, assisting with the selection and use of age‑appropriate, curriculum‑aligned resources. You will help students develop confidence and independence in using the library, while fostering positive library behaviours and an inclusive atmosphere. Working collaboratively with staff, you will contribute to a vibrant library culture by supporting engaging displays, literacy initiatives and activities that promote a love of reading.
