Senior Network Engineer (Cisco Wireless) A large enterprise organisation undergoing significant technology transformation is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join their infrastructure team in Sydney. This role sits within a high-performing enterprise technology group responsible for delivering and operating critical networking platforms across offices, data centres and cloud environments. The environment is WiFi-first, meaning wireless connectivity is business-critical across the organisation. You will play a key role in designing, operating and continuously improving enterprise network platforms while also contributing to ongoing transformation initiatives. The Role As a Senior Network Engineer, you will work across both project delivery and operational engineering, helping to ensure the organisation’s network platforms remain stable, scalable and secure. This role offers a strong mix of hands-on engineering, troubleshooting, optimisation and mentoring within a modern enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities Design, implement and optimise enterprise network infrastructure Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex network incidents Manage and enhance Cisco wireless environments across multiple locations Support data centre switching, routing and network infrastructure Work with load balancing technologies including F5 Contribute to continuous improvement of network performance and reliability Participate in automation and modern engineering practices Collaborate with cloud, security and platform engineering teams Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical best practices Technical Environment You will work across a modern enterprise network environment including: Cisco enterprise networking (Catalyst) Cisco wireless infrastructure Data centre networking Load balancing technologies (F5) SD-WAN and enterprise WAN connectivity AWS networking environments Network automation tools (Python / Ansible desirable) What We’re Looking For Strong experience with Cisco enterprise networking Proven expertise in enterprise wireless networking Experience operating and troubleshooting large-scale networks Data centre networking experience (switching & routing) Experience with F5 load balancing is highly regarded Exposure to network automation or scripting (Python, Ansible etc.) is beneficial Experience working across both projects and operations environments Strong problem solving and troubleshooting capability Why Join?
