What You’ll Do Strategic Advisory & Compliance: Provide expert guidance on SHE matters, contribute to strategy development, and ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.Risk & Emergency Management: Conduct risk assessments, support hazard mitigation, and assist in emergency planning and statutory compliance across sites.Training & Capability Building: Partner with L&D to deliver SHE training and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Incident & Injury Management: Lead investigations of incidents and near misses, coordinate corrective actions, and manage return-to-work strategies.SHE Advocacy & Engagement: Champion Zero Harm behaviours, drive awareness through campaigns and events, and embed SHE values across the organisation.Continuous Improvement & Collaboration: Review procedures, analyse performance data, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance SHE systems and outcomes.Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture. What You’ll Bring Proven ability to communicate effectively and build strong working relationships across all levels.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, or mining environment.Tertiary qualification in Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.In-depth understanding of SHE regulations, standards, and industry best practices.Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to risk management.Current Drivers License Applications closing 15 March 2026 Why join Weir?
