About the role: This position is accountable for driving promotion and adoption of virtual care through intra and cross HHS clinician-led engagement and change management initiatives, as well as informing the development and implementation of clinical protocols and new virtual enabled models of care. Working in partnership with the Hospital and Health service executive and other key stakeholders including the Hospital and Health Service (HHS) Virtual Care Coordinator, the Virtual Care Medical Lead will foster relationships with new and existing users of virtual care, both in the public and private sectors, and inform the design and implementation of systems and processes to support scalable and sustainable virtual care services across all patient care settings (inpatient, outpatient, emergency, community) and modalities (video call, request for advice, remote patient monitoring, and phone call). About you: MBBS or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. The incumbent is required to maintain registration with the Medical Board of Australia at all times. FRACGP or evidence of significant progress as an RACGP trainee Or FACEM OR FACRRMCurrent ALS, PALS and Neonatal Resuscitation certification. Enrolment in and maintenance of a CME/CPD program with an appropriate medical college. Australian C class licence. Postgraduate adult education-related qualifications and experience of adult learning principles are highly desirable.
