About the program : AIR6500 is the RAAF’s $3 billion program to develop a joint air battle management system that builds on the capabilities offered by Next Generation sensor and command and control systems. AIR6500 will create a fully networked ‘system of systems’ that synchronises air and missile defence operations in joint and coalition environments, maximising situational awareness and enhancing the speed of decision making across the battlespace. Your responsibilities will include: We are seeking an experienced ILS Analyst to join the AIR6500 team, supporting the delivery of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) activities within an Agile program environment. In this role, you will work closely with the customer, Systems Engineering Integration Team (SEIT), product teams and suppliers to ensure supportability is designed into the system from the outset. You will play a key role in delivering compliant, sustainable and operationally effective capability to Defence. Key responsibilities: Develop and deliver LSA work packages and maintain supportability data in approved tools and templates Conduct supportability and maintainability analysis to support system design and operational effectiveness Develop maintenance plans, procedures, and technical reports to meet certification and compliance requirements Collaborate with Systems Engineering, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure design-for-support outcomes Resolve supportability and reliability issues during development, integration, and test About you: You are an experienced ILS professional with strong knowledge of supportability engineering within complex Defence programs. You understand how to embed maintainability and logistics considerations early in the engineering lifecycle and enjoy working in collaborative, cross-functional environments.
