APS6 Senior Videographer to Short Term Contract Capital Recruit Canberra ACT (Hybrid) Marketing Communications (Marketing and Communications) Full time 60 to 80 per hour super The Department This large Federal Government department delivers policy, programs and services that support Australians across a wide range of life stages. Its in-house Production and Design team plays a critical role in communicating priority initiatives through high-quality, accessible and brand-aligned creative content. The Role We are seeking 2 x Senior Video and Photography Producers to join the busy production team until 30 June 2026 (approx. 14 weeks). These roles will support the delivery of high-quality creative outputs for priority programs and campaigns, ensuring all content aligns with APS standards, accessibility requirements and corporate brand guidelines. Please note some interstate travel is required. Duties Plan, direct and produce video and photographic content end-to-end to from pre-production through to post-production Operate cameras and manage lighting, audio and on-site production requirements Oversee editing, colour grading and final production outputs Ensure captioning, audio descriptions and accessibility standards are met Coordinate logistics for Canberra and interstate shoots Skills and Experience Demonstrated experience producing professional video and photographic content end-to-end Strong technical capability in camera operation, lighting, audio and post-production editing Experience delivering content in line with brand and accessibility requirements Experience working within Government or highly regulated environments (desirable) Current baseline clearance To be eligible for this position you must be an Australian Citizen at the time of application.
