Lead by example to drive a strong, positive safety culture across the underground operations. Conduct and actively participate in safety meetings, toolbox meetings, risk assessments, investigations, and project-related forums. Ensure compliance with all legislation, Redpath policies and procedures, and client requirements. Identify hazards, report incidents or near misses, and take corrective or emergency action when required. Oversee underground maintenance performance to meet daily and weekly plans while ensuring quality and housekeeping standards. Coordinate and supervise maintenance teams to achieve operational targets. Highlight operational or performance gaps to the Project Manager and recommend corrective actions. Support development and implementation of 3‑month, weekly, and daily maintenance schedules. Promote a professional work environment and represent Redpath positively. Support the development and training of personnel to maintain operational capability. relevant Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment / Diesel Fitter trade qualifications; experience working in mining, shaft sinking, heavy industry or major construction projects; valid manual drivers licence; current First Aid & CPR qualification; demonstrated strong fault finding skills; auto electrical knowledge; ability to read schematics; demonstrated leadership ability; high levels of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure; strong planning and organisational skills to schedule and complete tasks;
