About the Role Uniting AgeWell’s Strath-Haven Community Residential Facility provides high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring they live with dignity and comfort in a vibrant, homely environment. The newly completed Reservoir Wing heralds a new era in aged care, with intimate dining rooms, light-filled lounges, spacious bedroom suites, and seamless connections to the outdoors. Take a virtual tour here: Strath-Haven Community We are currently seeking passionate and caring individuals to join our team as Personal Care Workers on a permanent part-time basis. Key Responsibilities As a Personal Care Worker at Strath-Haven, you will: Deliver personal care, including showering, grooming, dressing, and mobility assistance Support residents with daily living tasks such as meal assistance and maintaining a clean, comfortable environment Monitor residents’ physical, emotional, and behavioural well-being, promptly reporting any concerns Encourage social engagement and assist with recreational and group activities Provide care to residents with complex needs, including palliative care, dementia support, and pain management, to enhance their well-being Support nursing staff with assessments, documentation, and evaluation of care outcomes Maintain a safe and clean environment, addressing any risks or issues promptly Available Shifts Please note: the following shift line roles are currently available and offered on a set fortnightly roster . Shift patterns are subject to change.
