Sampling Department - Sewing Machinist / Labourer Strong brand | Stable company | Full-time day shift | Overtime available. Quest Flooring Pty Ltd has over 30 years of experience in the flooring industry and is a market leader in the manufacture and distribution of premium quality carpets. We are currently seeking a Sewing Machinist / Labourer to join our Sampling Department on a full-time basis. Working hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am - 3:06 pm Friday: 6:00 am - 2:06 pm This is a varied and hands-on role. On any given day, you may be responsible for: Binding edging on carpet samples Labelling carpet samples Cutting samples to size using a cutting machine Data entry and computer input Collating and boxing completed samples for dispatch Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Sewing experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred but not essential) Previous experience in the textile industry (preferred but not essential) Flexibility to assist with other tasks within the Sampling Department Basic computer literacy Strong attention to detail Good communication skills Professional presentation Excellent organisational and time management skills Willingness to seek guidance and follow direction when required Ability to work cooperatively with management and team members Willingness to work overtime when needed Physical fitness, as some lifting is required What we offer On-the-job training A stable role within a progressive company Competitive wages A fast-paced, supportive team environment An opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to a respected brand If you are reliable, motivated and ready to be part of a strong team, we encourage you to apply directly to Quest Flooring Pty Ltd.
