Our Retail Department encompasses 5 outlets selling everything a guest could possibly need for their snow resort adventure. This team is armed with a deep knowledge of all the latest and greatest products available to improve safety and enjoyment of our guests. The Retail Manager is primarily responsible for driving continuous improvement within the Retail Department. A main focus of this role is to manage the daily operation of the retail department outlets encompassing retail sales, stock management and customer service. Working within your team, you are to provide leadership and guidance to all and work with supervisors to implement strategies for increasing safety, work satisfaction and team productivity. Skills & Experience 3 yrs experience in snow industry retail or wholesale sales Proficient in the use of POS systems, inventory software, etc Previous experience and/ or appropriate level of training in supervising others Strong communication and conflict resolution skill Experience in tourism-based customer service Experience in cash handling procedures About Thredbo Thredbo is Australia’s premier year-round alpine destination.
