Introduction Retail & Sales Focused | Learning & Development This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne About the role The Training Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality product and sales training on behalf of Samsung Electronics Australia Pty Ltd (the client) within the MX Learning & Development Team Division. This is a hands-on role where you’ll deliver best-in-class product and soft skills training, directly influencing sales performance, customer experience, and long-term brand loyalty across retail and call centre environments. Description You’ll deliver engaging training, receive regular feedback, and continue developing your facilitation skills in a supportive environment that encourages learning and improvement. This role is highly execution-focused and ideal for someone who enjoys being on the ground —engaging with our trainees, speaking to customer , coaching sales teams, and translating real market i nsights into impactful learning solutions. Key Responsibilities Training Planning & Delivery Facilitate engaging training sessions Design and build training plans aligned to stakeholder briefs Support major events including roadshows, PR launches, VIP nights, and media briefings Provide feedback on training and event execution to drive continuous improvement Retail & Sales Execution Coach retail sales teams to improve capability and sales results Deliver induction and ongoing training in-store Support Samsung Stores through demonstration of best practice when speaking to customers and offering solutions Reporting & Continuous Improvement Report on training activities and events to support effective resourcing Share insights, results, and recommendations to enhance future programs Support additional initiatives as required About You You will bring: Minimum 3 years’ experience in Learning & Development, training, or a related field Strong facilitation and presentation skills (including groups of 80 participants ) Proven ability to translate technical information into engaging, easy-to-understand content Experience working in retail or sales , ideally with complex or technical products Strong project management and training design capability Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple stakeholders Excellent time management and ability to meet tight deadlines Ability to travel once a month both interstate and overseas Highly Desirable Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) Experience with presenting virtually, appearing in camera and to the media Knowledge of consumer electronics, particularly Telecommunications and IT Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills Why Join Us?
