ABOUT THE ROLE Venues NSW was formed in December 2020 and is a commercially focused arm of the NSW Government. We collaborate closely with Destination NSW, major sporting codes and promoters to excite and entertain the people of NSW with a rich and varied calendar of major events. This role is based in Wollongong at the WIN Sports and Entertainment Centre. The Groundsperson role is a 12 month fixed-term opportunity that sits within our pivotal Grounds team, who are responsible for preparation, maintenance and upkeep of the WIN Sports and Entertainment Centre playing fields and the surrounding landscaped areas for sporting and other events. This role is an outstanding opportunity to combine your love for sport with your vocation. ABOUT YOU The successful candidate will assist the Grounds Supervisor and Venue Manager with the preparation and maintenance of the playing fields to meet all hirers expectations and guidelines.
