About the role As a dedicated In Work Support Specialist, you will be focused on supporting participants once they commence employment or training, ensuring their transition into the workplace is positive and sustainable. This role works to maintain regular contact with both participants and employers, providing tailored assistance such as on-the-job coaching, workplace adjustments, addressing barriers, and promoting disability awareness in the workplace. Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide tailored support to participants once they commence employment or education Maintain regular contact with participants and employers to ensure sustainable placements Deliver practical on-the-job support, coaching, and guidance as needed Building strong relationships with community organisations and stakeholders Addressing workplace adjustments, mentoring, and training needs to ensure success Monitoring progress and intervene early to overcome barriers to retention Maintaining accurate records and compliance with IEA program requirements To be successful in this role, you will have: Experience in employment services, recruitment, disability support, or related sectors Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with diverse stakeholders A solutions‑focused approach and ability to motivate others An eagerness to learn and grow within the industry Strong team player attributes Ability to prioritise workload, use initiative and multi-task Self-motivated and enthusiastic High level of computer literacy We are wanting to hear from candidates who enjoy providing a positive customer and client experience, thrive in a target based environment, are motivated by exceeding their professional and personal goals and are looking for a career - not just a job.
