Our client requires a technically strong and commercially aware Senior Geotechnical Engineer to support a portfolio of wind, solar and iron ore developments, with a strong focus on Pilbara-based projects. This is a high-impact role where you will influence ground engineering strategy from early feasibility through to construction. The Opportunity - You will: Lead and review complex geotechnical investigations across renewable and mining infrastructure projects Develop ground models and derive design parameters to inform major capital decisions Manage geotechnical risk across the full project lifecycle Provide technical direction to multidisciplinary engineering teams Scope, coordinate and challenge external consultants to optimise design, cost and schedule Support feasibility studies, optioneering and constructability assessments Interface directly with civil and structural designers to deliver practical, buildable solutions Drive continuous improvement in ground engineering standards and practices If you are a proactive, solutions-focused geotechnical professional who thrives in fast-paced project environments. You will bring: Degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology 8 years’ postgraduate experience supporting major infrastructure or resource projects Strong Pilbara site investigation experience Demonstrated expertise in desk studies, investigation design, interpretation and reporting Experience supporting wind farm or renewable energy projects (highly regarded) Advanced working knowledge of Slope/W, Rocscience Suite, PLAXIS or similar Strong commercial acumen and ability to challenge design outcomes Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE PERMANENT RESIDENCY OR CITIZENSHIP WITHIN AUSTRALIA.
