Job Description: We are seeking a Principal, Performance Excellence to be the engine of enterprise-wide operational efficiency and strategic capacity creation. This role is pivotal in leveraging technologies like AI, digitisation, and automation to fundamentally redesign core business processes, enabling the entire organisation to achieve new levels of productivity, speed, and cost-effectiveness. You are a visionary and pragmatic person of influence who thrives on transforming complex operational challenges into streamlined, automated solutions. Reporting to the VP, Enterprise Operations, you will have significant decision-making authority and the autonomy to select transformation projects, recommend technology investments, and set governance standards across the company. If you possess a unique blend of strategic foresight and a relentless focus on measurable profitability improvement, we want to hear from you. What You Will Be Doing: Design and implement a holistic, multi-year transformation roadmap focused on process automation and enterprise-wide optimisation, whilst focusing on in-year results. Establish and govern a profitability and margin expansion centre of excellence (CoE), defining standards for security, scalability, and delivery. Analyse complex, end-to-end business processes using data to pinpoint friction points, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities. Lead discovery workshops with business leaders to translate strategic performance goals into tangible automation and AI project requirements. Oversee the development and deployment lifecycle for all automation, digitisation, and AI solutions, ensuring effective planning and execution. Measure and report on validated ROI, capacity created, and financial tracking associated with the automation pipeline. Coach and mentor a high-performing team of specialists, fostering technical excellence and business acumen within the CoE. Champion the integration of data analytics and process mining to continuously monitor automated processes and identify next-generation improvements. Job Qualifications: What You Will Bring: Essential: 5 years of progressive experience leading large-scale process improvement and digital transformation programs. Certification in Lean or an equivalent advanced process methodology. Hands-on experience designing and managing solutions utilising RPA, AI/ML, and intelligent document processing (IDP). Executive presence and storytelling skills to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business cases for the executive suite. A "Challenger Mindset" that naturally questions the status quo and sees technology as a lever for business reinvention. Demonstrated experience managing a project portfolio and collaborating with technical teams of developers or engineers. Bias for action with the grit to see large-scale programs through to measurable completion. Preferred: Cross-functional acumen to discuss both high-level business strategy and technical API integration. Experience with enterprise systems such as Salesforce and Zendesk.
