About the opportunity We are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Advisor to join our New South Wales team supporting multiple major Water and Utilities infrastructure projects. This role will support the management of key environmental risks including biodiversity, noise and vibration, waste, contaminated land, erosion and sediment control, water quality and air quality across complex infrastructure works. You will work closely with Project Managers and operational leaders to maintain strong environmental standards across our projects. You will provide clear technical guidance, ensure compliance obligations are understood and met and contribute to continuous improvement across the portfolio as well as: Develop, review and implement environmental management plans, risk assessments and supporting documentation. Conduct inspections, audits and incident investigations, ensuring timely close out of actions. Identify and manage environmental risks across multiple concurrent activities. Liaise with regulators, clients and key stakeholders as required. Monitor and report on environmental performance across the portfolio. Provide clear, pragmatic advice to support safe and compliant project delivery. What You’ll Bring to the Team Demonstrated experience as a Senior Environmental Advisor within civil construction or major infrastructure environments. Qualifications in Environmental Science or a related discipline, with strong working knowledge of NSW environmental legislation. Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage constructively with site teams, clients and regulators. A practical, solutions-focused approach with the ability to balance compliance requirements with delivery realities.
