Our client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Sales Estimator to join our Commercial team. This is a pivotal role where you will act as the commercial bridge between our customers and our business — delivering accurate estimates, building strong relationships, and driving profitable growth. About the Role Reporting directly to the COO, you will: Fully understand customer requirements and project scope Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely estimates and proposals Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and order project materials Interpret engineering and construction drawings Conduct site measurements and scope markups Follow up submitted quotations to convert opportunities Maintain and report on your CRM pipeline Work closely with Project Managers, coordinators, subcontractors, and our Philippines office Maintain strong client and supplier relationships You will be responsible for estimating across a wide range of gate systems and metalwork, including: Cantilever, track sliding, overhead sliding, hinged and telescopic gates Chainwire gates and fence systems Handrails and architectural metalwork Gate operating systems and access controls About You You are commercially astute, technically capable, and confident working autonomously. You understand construction environments and can confidently interpret drawings and specifications. You will bring: Mechanical Engineering qualification Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience Experience within the construction industry Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and fabrication 2D & 3D CAD experience Project management exposure Competency across Microsoft 365 Current driver’s licence Your Key Strengths High attention to detail Strong organisation and time management Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage your workload independently Innovative thinking and willingness to challenge the status quo Commitment to safety and quality Why Join our Company?
