About the Role As a Salesforce Developer, you’ll be at the forefront of designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions. Working alongside cross-functional teams, you’ll deliver innovative solutions to meet business objectives while ensuring minimal technical debt and maximum maintainability. Role Responsibilities: Develop tailored solutions that deliver business value while focusing on future stability and maintainability with minimal technical debt. Use configuration tools (such as UX, Flow, and Automation) to minimize reliance on Apex coding, enabling a wider team to assist with future revisions and improvements. Design and implement custom Salesforce solutions, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other related technologies. Build and configure Salesforce according to Business Acceptance Criteria, ensuring that test cases are provided for validation by the QA team. Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems and external APIs to enhance data exchange and functionality. Develop automated workflows, processes, and triggers to streamline business operations and improve efficiency. Keep up to date with Salesforce platform updates, new features, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Ensure all developed features are documented, including process maps. Ultimately, this role is about creating and enhancing Salesforce solutions that drive business efficiency and growth while keeping future scalability and system integrity in mind. About you: You are a proactive, problem-solving developer who thrives on building scalable, impactful solutions. You’re someone who enjoys tackling complex challenges and is dedicated to continuously improving your craft. You’ll bring: Excellent knowledge of Salesforce development tools (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Flow, etc.). Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, including Profiles, Permission Sets, Roles, Sharing Rules, Layouts, and Custom Objects. Experience with integrating Salesforce with third-party systems and external APIs. Strong ability to design and implement automated workflows, processes, and triggers. Familiarity with Salesforce best practices for maintaining system integrity, reducing technical debt, and ensuring future scalability. Ability to analyse complex business requirements and propose innovative Salesforce solutions. Strong documentation skills, including process mapping and feature documentation. Required skills and qualifications • Relevant degree in Computer Science • Experience with similar role 3 years Beneficial skills and qualifications (but not essential) Salesforce certifications (Salesforce Developer, Advanced Developer, etc.). Experience with other Salesforce technologies, including Lightning Web Components and Salesforce DX. Experience with Agile development practices.
