About the role This is a part time role (18.75 hours per week) on a fixed-term contract until 30 June 2027, with potential for extension, based in Queanbeyan. The Registered Nurse (AOD) works collaboratively with consumers and their family/carers to provide primary health support, care coordination, referrals and home-based detox supports with the aim of improving outcomes and reducing harm associated with drug and alcohol use. Deliver harm minimisation, relapse prevention and motivational interventions to support consumer recovery Maintain accurate electronic clinical records, documentation and data reporting in line with program requirements. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary AOD team and external providers to support integrated care. Skills & Experience Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of two years’ experience. Demonstrated skills and experience in providing community-based nursing, AOD and/or mental health Demonstrated understanding or knowledge of the principles of harm minimisation and recovery focused support gained through experience, education and/or training Demonstrated ability to engage with AOD consumers and their families, friends, or carers to undertake assessment to determine care needs and provide care coordination and referral support About Grand Pacific Health What we care about most is supporting healthier, happier, more connected communities across NSW and the ACT.
