Location: North Richmond, NSW Job-type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Manage daily operations of the restaurant, including staff management, inventory control, and ensuring high standards of customer service. Collaborate with the Chef and kitchen staff to design and update the menu, replacing unpopular items and incorporating current food trends Manage purchasing and pricing of items in line with the restaurant’s operating budget and revenue targets. Oversee the restaurant’s finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring sales and expenses. Plan and coordinate special events and promotions to attract customers and drive business growth. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and continually look for ways to improve restaurant operations. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food handling procedures, and hygiene standards. Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers, including special offers and promotions. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiate terms, and secure favorable pricing for goods. Ideal candidate must have: Minimum Diploma degree in hospitality management, business, or relevant. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager At least 2 years of Australian work experience as a Restaurant Manager Knowledge of café and restaurant operations. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to manage food and beverage inventory effectively. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to analyse sales and control costs to drive profitability.
