What you'll be doing: 1.Lead and manage daily timber production operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to schedules. 2.Ensure all timber products meet strict quality standards and customer specifications. 3.Plan, schedule, and optimise production activities, including output, quality, labour, and resources. 4.Oversee maintenance planning, equipment use, and production tools to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime. 5.Monitor production performance, costs, and resource use, and implement improvements to reduce waste and optimise processes. 6.Develop, mentor, and manage workshop staff, ensuring high performance and a safe working environment. 7.Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and export teams to ensure timely delivery of products. 8.Implement continuous improvement initiatives, recommend new methods, and report production outcomes to senior management. What we are looking for: 1.Proven experience as a Production Manager in manufacturing, ideally timber or related industries. 2.Strong hands-on leadership, managing daily operations and a skilled team. 3.Solid knowledge of production planning, quality control, and workflow optimisation. 4.Experience with health, safety, and environmental compliance. 5.Ability to monitor performance, control costs, and improve processes. 6.Excellent communication and coordination with teams and partners. 7.Focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence. 8.Motivated, proactive, and ready to lead and make a real impact in a growing company.
