About the Law team BlueRock Law is a fast-growing mid-sized commercial law firm that is increasing in revenue year on year. We are part of an entrepreneurial advisory firm with substantial accounting, wealth management, finance, insurance and digital teams that provide holistic advice to its SME client base. As part of a modern multi-disciplinary professional services firm, you will be collaborating with a variety of experienced accountants, financial planners, brokers and digital experts. What you'll be doing: This role is focused on estate planning and estate administration, including simple and complex Wills, Probate, and estate administration Managing estate files from start to finish, including the preparation of Probate, Letters of Administration applications, and Part IV applications Corresponding with third parties such as financial institutions, the SRO, and courts Assisting with Deeds of Family Arrangements and estate disputes Drafting Wills (including testamentary trusts) and Enduring Powers of Attorney Liaising with accountants and financial advisers (particular relevant given BlueRock’s multidisciplinary structure) Basic conveyancing transactions including solicitors’ certificates Partnering with the senior leaders and Directors in this practice area, with access to ongoing mentorship and career development Requirements About You: We want to hear from people who have: Admitted to practice in Victoria (or eligible for admission) Minimum 3 years post-admission experience (PAE) in the legal profession Demonstrated experience and competency in Estate Planning and Probate Experience with or exposure to testamentary trust drafting Ability to produce high quality work with strong attention to detail, working with limited supervision Comfortable working autonomously while managing competing deadlines Strong client management and communication skills A collaborative team player who can build strong referral relationships Benefits Our people love to work for us, here’s why!
